About Oscar

Oscar Moncada's path into technology started early. At 13, he began programming on IBM mainframes through a school internship, sparking an interest in software and emerging technology that would shape his career. He later studied artificial intelligence in the early 2000s and held technical roles at Events.com, Mirum (formerly Digitaria), and FICO.

As Technology Operations Director at Events.com, Oscar helped design and operate a resilient, scalable cloud infrastructure built to support the company's growth. In 2016, he earned his AWS Solutions Architect credential as one of the earlier recipients, #2,663.

Seeing a growing need for cloud expertise among startups and midsize organizations, Oscar co-founded Stratus10 in 2017 with Kevin RisonChu and began leading the company full time in 2019. Today, he guides Stratus10's strategy across AWS consulting, cloud operations, the Kalos cloud management platform, and emerging AI technologies.
