About Kevin
Kevin RisonChu's path into cloud technology began well before “the cloud” became a category. After earning a BS in Applied Computer Science, he built his early career as a hands-on systems and Linux engineer, including work advising startups on highly available global infrastructure.
Kevin spent a decade at Mirum Agency, formerly Digitaria, rising from Lead Systems Engineer to Director of Systems and Infrastructure. He led a geographically distributed engineering team supporting global clients under strict SLAs, managed multimillion-dollar IT budgets, and helped move the agency from traditional data centers to a fully cloud-based infrastructure model.
In 2017, Kevin co-founded Stratus10 with Oscar Moncada. As CTO, he leads technical strategy and delivery, helping organizations design scalable, cost-effective cloud environments and solve complex infrastructure challenges. He also serves as CTO of Kalos, Stratus10's cloud management platform.
