Oscar Moncada, Co-Founder & CEO of Stratus10

Oscar embarked on his technology journey at the age of 13, delving into programming on mainframes at IBM through a school internship. His passion for AI led him to study the field in the early 2000s, followed by impactful roles in software development at Events.com, Mirum (then, Digitaria), and FICO. In 2016, Oscar achieved the prestigious AWS Solutions Architect credential, ranking among the earliest recipients at #2,663.

When he was Technology Operations Director at Events.com, Oscar's leadership played a pivotal role in crafting a resilient, scalable, and contemporary cloud infrastructure, pivotal to the company's substantial growth. Recognizing the burgeoning demand for cloud expertise among midsize enterprises, he co-founded Stratus10 in 2017, transitioning to full-time dedication by 2019.

Oscar's commitment to empowering SMBs in leveraging AWS' innovative services, coupled with his adept leadership, propelled Stratus10 to the forefront of AWS Partners. Holding the distinction of being one of 18 national partners proficient in Migration, DevOps, and the Education sector, Stratus10 boasts the highest number of AWS designations among San Diego-based firms. Since 2019, Oscar's team, primarily rooted in San Diego, has continued to offer steadfast support to local startups and global enterprises alike, guiding them through the intricate landscape of cloud computing.
